The purpose of the INTERNET PORTAL OF THE JUDICIAL BRANCH OF PUERTO RICO (hereinafter, Portal or Website), available at www.poderjudicial.pr, is to provide the general public with information about the services and operations of the Courts of the Judicial Branch of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (hereinafter, Judicial Branch). By accessing, browsing, or using this Portal, the user expressly accepts the terms of use described herein. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Website.
The Judicial Branch may, at any time and without prior notice, revise, replace, or modify this Policy and its Terms of Use and any other information contained in this Portal. It may also add to, restrict, or change the services or programs described in this Website at any time and without prior notice.

Privacy and Security while Using the Portal
The Judicial Branch will take reasonable measures to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the personal information that it may collect and store from its users. A cookie is a document created by a one-to-one Judicial Branch web server that is saved on the user’s computer hard drive. This file can only be read by a server belonging to the issuing domain. These files cannot be used to run programs or deliver computer viruses on users’ computers; instead, they help users save time by informing the Portal that a particular user has returned to a specific page, thus simplifying the process of logging the personal information provided during a prior visit to the same Portal.
